FACT CHECK: Kehoe Campaign Lies About China

Jay Ashcroft has been an outspoken leader in efforts to stop the sale of any Missouri land to China or our other adversaries. Our national security is far too important.
Jay worked with Rep. Mike Haffner (R-Pleasant Hill) to draft House Bill 903, to expressly ban China, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela and Russia, or their state-controlled entities from buying our land.

On Sept. 11, 2013, Kehoe assumed the chair of the Senate to preside, then led the Senate in voting to allow China to buy Missouri farmland FOR THE FIRST TIME IN STATE HISTORY.
He overrode the Governor’s veto of this legislation - the only time Kehoe assumed the chair that day.
